An exciting opportunity has become available for a Specialist Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within an Independent Garage, located in Thirsk.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Duties include but are not limited to

• Carrying out servicing and repairs to a variety of vehicles
• Performing diagnostic testing to identify vehicle faults
• Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards
• Completing advanced jobs such as tuning, retro‑fitting, engine work, track and race work

Requirements

• Fully qualified vehicle technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Prior experience within a garage or main dealer
• Current and valid UK driving licence
• Dedicated and committed approach
• Your own vehicle technician tools

Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.

The salary of this role is up to £38,000 basic with OTE of £40,000.

Hours of work for this Specialist Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday, 08:30‑17:30 - no weekend working!
