A rapidly growing international renewable energy business is seeking a Group Tax Manager to join its Finance team. This role covers UK and international tax compliance, VAT, and advisory work, with the opportunity to get involved in M&A and wider group planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead UK VAT compliance and oversee overseas VAT via external advisors
• Support corporation tax compliance and reporting
• Maintain transfer pricing policies and manage tax audits
• Partner with Finance, Investment, and People teams on tax matters
• Contribute to M&A and group tax planning projects

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified (CTA, ACA, ACCA, ICAS, or equivalent)
• Strong UK tax technical knowledge, especially VAT
• Experience across compliance and advisory/transactional work
• Clear communicator, able to work with non-tax specialists
• In-house or practice background; renewable energy/infrastructure experience a plus
