Job Title: Van Delivery Driver (Multi-Drop) - Ongoing Work - Immediate Starts!

Location: South Ockendon

Job Type: Full-time, Ongoing (Temp to Perm Opportunities)

Shifts: Day & Night Shifts Available (Start times between 05:00 - 08:00)

Days: 7-Day Operation (Flexible Schedule - Must Be Able to Work Weekends)

About the Role

The Best Connection Romford are currently recruiting for experienced Van Delivery Drivers on behalf of one of the UK's largest retail and logistics companies. This is a fantastic opportunity for long-term, ongoing work with immediate starts available.

You'll be delivering clothing and retail parcels to high street stores and regional distribution centres (RDCs) as part of a next-day-to-store delivery service. Some manual handling required.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering to 6-10 retail stores or RDCs per shift
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Offloading goods safely at each delivery point
• Recording Proof of Delivery (POD) accurately
• Communicating effectively with the transport team
• Shadowing a full-time driver before starting solo routes

Shift & Pay Details

Day Rates:

• Basic (up to 45 hours/week): £13.55 per hour
• Overtime (after 45 hours/week): £20.33 per hour

Bank Holidays: £27.10 per hour

Minimum 5 hours paid per shift (even if finish early!)

What We're Looking For

Full UK Driving Licence (Cat B - Van Licence)

Minimum 2 year's Van Driving experience

Previous multi-drop experience

Must be able to work weekends as part of rota

Reliable, physically fit, and good communication skills
