A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking an Urgent & Emergency Care Clerical Assistant committed to delivering outstanding care. The position involves processing enquiries, providing customer-oriented service, and supporting clinical teams in the Emergency Department. Applicants should have relevant clerical experience and strong IT skills. The role is permanent, full-time, and covers a fixed rota, including weekends and holidays, with an annual salary of £24,465.
We are recruiting for an Urgent & Emergency Care Clerical Assistant who shares our vision to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
You will work independently and as part of a multi‑disciplinary team, delivering a polite, friendly, patient‑focused service to patients attending our Emergency Department and supporting our Urgent Treatment Centre.
Work will be across Lister Hospital, Stevenage, and our Urgent Treatment Centres in Lister and Welwyn. The role is on a fixed rota covering weekdays, evenings, weekends, Bank Holidays, Christmas and New Year, with enhanced pay for the hours required.
The position is on a full‑time, permanent rota that covers 365 days a year, including weekends, Bank Holidays, Christmas, and New Year.
