Job summary

Qualifications

  • Must have current NMC registration as RGN.
  • Qualified as Practice Assessor or holding a Mentorship Qualification is essential.
  • In possession of Intermediate Life Support (ILS) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assessment of patient care needs and ensuring patient flow.
  • Provide daily clinical and managerial leadership to nursing staff.
  • Develop a culture of continuous improvement focused on patient outcomes.

Skills

Good written and verbal communication skills
Competency in medication administration including IV medications
Competent in venipuncture and cannulation
Competent in ECG
Basic IT skills
Ability to work as a team
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to supervise other nursing staff
Ability to work under pressure

Education

RGN with current NMC registration
