A healthcare provider is seeking an Urgent Care Assistant in Salisbury. Responsibilities include driving clinicians to patients' homes and performing reception duties. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and a UK driving license. This part-time position involves varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, with competitive pay up to £16.48/hr and several benefits.
As a result of continued growth, HealthHero is seeking to recruit one Urgent Care Assistant to undertake driving, receptionist, and base duties to support the delivery of Integrated Urgent Care services across Wiltshire, Swindon, and Bath and North East Somerset on a part-time, permanent basis. Our shift patterns are varied, including weekday evenings, weekend work, and some overnight sessions.
As an Urgent Care Assistant, you will perform dual roles of driving and reception to support the efficient operation of services across the South West locality.
Our service operates 24/7, 365 days a year, on a rolling 4-week rota, providing care to our service users. The role involves non-clinical support to clinicians and patients using NHS 111 and GP Out of Hours services.
Flexibility is required, and there may be occasional outside-of-hours work to ensure smooth operations.
Our Urgent Care bases are located in Chippenham, Keynsham, Salisbury, and Swindon. Your rota may include hours such as:

Full training will be provided. The role involves varied duties, from reception work to carrying emergency equipment and performing CPR if needed. Candidates will need to undergo a driver’s medical if successful.
You should be well-organized, hardworking, and personable. You will join a dedicated team making a difference in urgent care services.
You will need to:
A full UK Driving License with no more than 6 penalty points and good driving experience are essential.
