A leading underwriting firm in London is seeking an Underwriting Assistant to support underwriting tasks and manage relationships with stakeholders. The role involves assisting in the underwriting process, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate records. Ideal candidates will have office administration experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The firm values inclusion and empowerment, providing a supportive environment for all employees.
We have the opportunity for a Underwriting Assistant to join our Liability department here at Tokio Marine Kiln. Reporting into the Departmental Manager of Liability, you will assist the Managers and Underwriters to carry out all tasks relating to the underwriting and reinsurance of the Department in order to provide appropriate customer focused products and maximize profitability, always bearing in mind the relationship between risk and return in respect of all underwriting activities.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have some general office administration experience and will be comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of Lloyd’s and the insurance market is also advantageous but not essential. We are looking for a team player who has good attention to detail and confidence to work with a wide variety of people.
