• Assess and underwrite bridging loan applications in line with policy and risk appetite.
• Manage your own pipeline of cases from application to completion.
• Review full case documentation including credit reports, KYC, and valuation reports.
• Approve or decline applications, producing a clear and high-quality loan synopsis for each case.
• Communicate effectively with brokers, intermediaries, and internal teams throughout the process.

• Good understanding of bridging finance and the short-term lending market
• Common-sense approach to lending and risk management
• Strong numeracy skills and confidence working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• At least 2 years\' experience in a similar underwriting role or within short-term lending
