This role is responsible for leading the finance function supporting HP UK and Ireland business and HP legal entities' regulatory requirements across the UK and Ireland. The UK & Ireland Finance Director will also be Statutory Director.

Job Summary

This role is responsible for leading the finance function supporting HP UK and Ireland business and HP legal entities' regulatory requirements across the UK and Ireland. The UK & Ireland Finance Director will also be Statutory Director.

Responsibilities
  • In close collaboration with HP UK & Ireland Managing Director and his staff, optimize HP UK & Ireland results across all Business management metrics, of which Revenue, Profit, Channel inventory, Market share, Cash-flow - in alignment with our worldwide company strategy and our Budget targets.
  • Serve as a key advisor to executive management in influencing the strategic direction of the business.
  • Manage business risks and opportunities through adequate financial planning and analysis.
  • Ensure financial reporting to the Northern Europe Market headquarters.
  • Oversee the accounting department, ensuring the production of accurate financial statements and reports in alignment with accounting standards and statutory legislation.
  • Ensure completion of tax deliverables and statutory audit support.
  • Ensure strong compliance and control framework. Ensure compliance to internal policies.
  • As Statutory Director, ensure Integrity of financial statements and accounts; protect company assets on behalf of shareholders; ensure compliance to all local rules and regulations.
  • Lead, coach, guide a direct team of 10 employees across Business Finance and Controllership. And an Indirect team spanning across Opex, Tax, Treasury, C&C.
Education & Experience Recommended
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 15+ years of job-related and/or management experience in financial management, internal audit, accounting.

  • Certified Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis Professional (FP&A)
  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
