A local government authority in Halifax seeks an experienced educator to provide tailored learning for adult learners. Ideal candidates should have a Level 3 teaching qualification and a proven track record in adult education. Responsibilities include assessing learners, monitoring progress, and fostering a positive learning environment. This role promotes diversity and supports learners in achieving their goals.
Calderdale Adult Learning is on a journey to become an outstanding provider. We offer a wide range of courses to approximately 4,000 adult learners throughout Calderdale, accredited and community-based learning. Our provision adapts to the needs of our communities. It offers a range of opportunities to learn, grow in confidence, gain the qualifications that support entering employment, career changes, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, improving emotional health and well-being, and gaining skills to help in daily life.
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. Applicants exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act will require a DBS before appointment is confirmed.
