Trusts and Estates Disputes Solicitor - Bristol

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented Solicitor to join a leading national law firm's expanding Trusts & Estates Disputes (TED) team. This is a chance to become part of one of the UK's largest specialist contentious trusts and probate groups during an exciting period of growth.

The team handles a wide range of complex and sensitive disputes, acting for major charities, high net worth individuals and financial institutions. With work spanning will and trust challenges, financial provision claims, executor and trustee disputes, and contested powers of attorney, you'll gain exposure to high quality, varied and intellectually stimulating matters.

This role is ideal for a driven lawyer with around 2 years' PQE who is ready to take the next step in their contentious private client career.

The Role
  • Managing your own caseload of contentious trusts and estates matters
  • Advising clients clearly on the strengths, risks and strategy of their cases
  • Supporting senior lawyers on complex or high value disputes
  • Handling cases of varying complexity and working within client service level agreements
  • Contributing to business development initiatives
  • Working collaboratively as part of a national team with excellent resources and support
About You
  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years' post qualification experience
  • Experience in contentious trusts and estates work, or strong transferable litigation experience
  • Confident using IT systems and case management tools
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to manage competing deadlines
  • Calm under pressure with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport with clients
