Job Overview

Role: Travel Consultant

Location: Glasgow, Lanarkshire

Salary: Competitive DOE + great benefits & commissions. Expected salary: £24,000–£25,000 per annum plus commissions and benefits.

Job Description
  • Work in a retail travel store, dealing with customers face‑to‑face and over the phone, offering excellent customer service.
  • Quote a wide range of holidays from packages to tailor‑made to suit customers’ needs.
  • Convert quotes into confirmed bookings and work to exceed sales targets.
  • Keep product and brand knowledge up to date with in‑depth knowledge of company destinations.
  • Work hours vary by branch, typically Monday–Sunday daytime hours; weekends and evenings may be on a rota basis.
  • Lead with exceptional customer service and demonstrate passion for people.
Experience Required
  • Previous experience as a travel agent, or in related travel/hospitality roles such as cabin crew, hotel reservations, airport check‑in.
  • Target‑driven sales experience, or a strong commitment to a travel industry career.
  • Experience travelling extensively is a plus.
