Transport Planner

Co. Antrim – Ballymena

Due to continued expansion, I am working with a leading transport company who are looking for a forward-thinking, solution driven transport planner to join their team

Duties

• Plan loads activity based on priorities (orders, location, etc)
• Monitor customer requests, allocate jobs and issue instructions
• Keep up to date with transport issues and deal with changes to the day\'s schedules
• Communicate fleet availability and issues
• Liaise with drivers and colleagues to ensure on time collections and deliveries
• Pre-brief and de-brief drivers on their daily runs throughout the day
• Other adhoc duties
