Are you a Nanny or Childminder ready to make an even bigger impact?

You’ve already helped children feel safe, cared for, and confident in their early years. Now, you can use your experience to support a child who needs more than short-term care—they need a real home.

Foster Wales Flintshire is looking for warm, committed individuals near Haslingden and Rossendale to provide stable, full-time care to children who are already beginning to thrive in school and the community, but need a consistent and loving home to truly flourish.

If you’ve worked as a nanny, childminder, au pair, or in home-based childcare, you’re already familiar with the routines, patience, and emotional insight needed to foster.

About the Role

This role involves offering a child or young person a full-time place in your home—helping them move forward from previous disruption or residential care.

These children are often already settled in school and routines, but need the emotional warmth and stability of a home environment. You’ll be supported every step of the way by a dedicated fostering team to help them (and you) thrive.

Have experience in home-based childcare or nannying

Can offer a safe, nurturing, full-time home

Additional annual allowances up to £1,035 for birthdays, holidays and Christmas

Practical & Emotional Support:
