Job summary

What does a TAM do at Hogarth

Our Transcreation Account Managers (TAM) are super‑organised and adept multi‑taskers. They are accountable for end‑to‑end project delivery, delivering projects on time, on specification and on budget. Our TAMs possess good project and client management skills and best‑practice methodology. They are the key contact for projects, responsible for relaying timing, scope, budget, resource and change information to the wider project and production teams.

Due to an increased volume of work coming in from the client we are opening an opportunity to work on one of the world’s most recognised luxury brands. The focus of the work will be on the management of their Print Marketing material into 10–22 languages (e.g. brochures, magazines, books, exhibition material, PR material etc.).

To thrive in this role you will be highly organised with a passion for optimising processes and delivering top‑tier client service. You will have a strong personal desire to continually grow and develop your skills. You’ll be experienced in client servicing and have a background in localisation.

Reporting lines and key stakeholders

This role reports into a Senior Transcreation Account Manager.

There will be close collaboration with all teams across the client account including a network of freelancers, our internal print team and other agencies the client appoints for different stages of their advertising materials production.

Responsibilities
  • Handle all aspects of the localisation cycle, i.e. briefing talents and print project team, coordinating copy and asset revision, validation with client and final delivery to client.
  • Prepare (and follow up) on timings, cost estimates and reconcile costs at project completion.
  • Manage agreed budgets and administration.
  • Work closely with the Print project team and wider Transcreation team in charge of Advertising material.
  • Strive to better the relations with client stakeholders and talents.
  • Carry out quality assurance prior to sharing copies for client approval as per agreed guidelines.
  • Ensure style guides, reference material and glossaries are always up to date in line with changing requirements.
  • Liaise with client for validation of trans‑created / translated copies and localised assets.
  • Demonstrate clear understanding of the brand; act as a brand guardian.
  • Highlight and escalate quality control issues to Senior Transcreation team members.
  • Support Senior Transcreation Managers with various projects by following the approved processes, making sure projects are delivered by the agreed target date and ensuring that the final material delivered is of a high quality.
  • Follow agreed workflows and utilise relevant project management tools.
Requirements
  • Experience of working within the language industry (translation, transcreation, localisation).
  • Linguistic background.
  • Experience in marketing and print production – a definite advantage.
  • Understanding of the production and the creative development process, content production technology, quality assurance, testing and marketing methodologies.
  • Ability to manage complex projects with varying components, demonstrable ability to deliver on time and on budget.
  • Experience of managing client relationships.
  • A professional, calm, approachable demeanour.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • An appreciation for how great work gets done and a commitment to ensuring flawless execution and delivery.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel / workflow tools, online project management / collaboration / ticketing tools (e.g. JIRA, Smartsheet, Trello, Miro etc.) – an advantage.
