A global diagnostics organisation is seeking a Training Specialist for a field-based role covering the Stoke/Derbyshire region. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Deliver product training in accordance with company standards.
  • Provide support during training from installation to post-launch.
  • Assist with troubleshooting during product launches.

Job description

Location: Field-based - Stoke / Derbyshire region (Covering University Hospitals of North Midlands sites)
Travel to UK Head Office in Burgess Hill, West Sussex required for training and meetings

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (Occasional unsocial hours and overnight stays required)

Contract: 6 month contract (Inside IR35)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Training Specialist to join one of our longstanding clients, a global diagnostics organisation, within their Near Patient Care Training Specialist team in Technical Services.

This 6-month contract, field-based role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality product training and support implementations across hospital sites in the Stoke and Derby areas.

The Requirements:

  • Strong scientific knowledge within a medical setting (theoretical and practical)
  • Excellent communication, time management, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Based in or near the Stoke / Derby area with access to UHNM sites
  • Full UK/EU (or equivalent) driving licence
  • Valid passport for potential overseas training
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Degree-level education or equivalent
  • Nursing background
  • Knowledge of NHS Primary and Secondary Care environments
  • Experience designing and delivering tailored training programmes
  • Familiarity with medical analytical systems, QA, and CRM tools
  • Diagnostics industry experience and on-site troubleshooting

The Role:

  • Delivering and recording product training in line with company standards
  • Providing training-related support from installation through to post-go-live
  • Supporting hardware and software implementations during product launches
  • Assisting with troubleshooting and technical queries when required
  • Working across multiple hospital sites with regular regional travel
  • Attending internal training and meetings at the UK head office as required
