Salary

Pay rate during training of £12:21 per hour (training will last 6 – 8 weeks). On completion of training, hourly pay rate increases to £13.35 rising to £15.00 per hour after 6 months

We’re looking for friendly, safety-conscious individuals to join us asSchool Bus Driverson a new school contract based at our Lincoln Depot. You’ll be responsible for transporting local children to and from school each day – a vital role that helps keep our communities connected.

No previous bus driving experience? No problem! We’ll providefully paid trainingto help you gain yourPCV licence, and we’ll support you every step of the way.

What we offer:

• £13.35 per hour, after training raising to £15.00 per hour after 6 months
• Term-time onlyworking – all school holidays off
• Split shifts, Monday to Friday (mornings and afternoons)
• Guaranteed 20–30 hours per week(depending on contract)

What you’ll be doing:

• Driving our school buses safely and confidently on local routes

• Being a reliable and friendly presence in your community

What do you need to apply?

• You need to be 18 years old and hold a driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points and had a minimum of 12 months driving experience.
• Right to work in the UK (You will need to have been in the UK for a minimum of 183 days as part of DVLA requirement) and have been ordinarily resident in the UK and Islands or the British Overseas Territories for the last 3 years OR meet alternative criteria due to funding criteria (can be discussed via application)
• A patient, safe and courteous approach
• Being the face of Stagecoach, a positive, friendly attitude and a passion for delivering great customer service
• A willingness to learn and be part of a brilliant team
