Apollo Teaching Services are a teaching agency providing high-quality supply staff to schools and colleges across South Wales. Established in 2006, Apollo Teaching Services are a professional, reliable and experienced agency that put the safeguarding of children at the forefront of everything they do.

Role Summary

We are looking for a committed and motivated individual to join the Apollo team as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant. Full training will be provided.

The successful individual will be primarily based in the Caerphilly department of our Pontypridd office in Treforest. They will be responsible for developing relationships with schools based in Caerphilly. You will be expected to work well in fast paced, energetic and busy environment.

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant you will be required to take responsibility for your own schools, and provide them with exceptional service and teaching staff. You will follow strict procedures and REC guidelines to recruit qualified supply teachers, teaching assistants and support staff, and you will support applicants throughout the registration process.

You will be expected to represent Apollo Teaching Services at various career and recruitment events throughout the academic year, and will need to have a good understanding of the Apollo Teaching Services ethos.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, develop, and initiate excellent working relationships with schools, colleges and other educational establishments through face to face visits and online communication
  • Source, recruit and interview supply teachers, teaching assistants and support staff
  • Undertake all administrative tasks required to register a new member of supply staff
  • Fill and record all bookings placed by schools
  • Organise and attend recruitment events as an ambassador for Apollo Teaching Services
  • Provide support and assistance to your colleagues and manager
