A prominent healthcare provider in Slough is looking for a motivated Trainee Respiratory Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join the Respiratory team. The role involves providing clinical support, optimising respiratory disease management, and working with a multidisciplinary team. Applicants should possess experience in nursing or allied health professions and a Level 7 qualification in relevant fields. The position promotes flexible working patterns and development opportunities.
Trainee Respiratory Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) Band 7. We are looking for a motivated Trainee ACP to join our Respiratory team and support the development of our Acute Respiratory Virtual Ward. Applicants must have at least one Level 7 module in Physical Assessment, Clinical Decision Making, or Non-Medical Prescribing. We also welcome applications from qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioners.
You will need substantial experience in your current profession (Nurse, Midwife or AHP) and an interest and background in respiratory care. A commitment to delivering safe, evidence-based, patient-focused care is essential. This role offers the opportunity to provide hospital-level care in patients’ own homes, working as part of a specialist workforce within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Following a structured induction, this post will be primarily based at Wexham Park Hospital, Slough. The successful candidate will play a key role in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients with chronic respiratory conditions who present with an acute flare.
