As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will receive full training and ongoing support, learning all aspects of education recruitment while working closely with experienced consultants. Key responsibilities include:
Training & Development
  • Learn the full recruitment process from initial enquiry through to placement
  • Receive structured training in candidate sourcing, interviewing, and compliance
  • Develop an understanding of education recruitment and safeguarding requirements
Candidate Support
  • Source and engage education professionals through advertising and networking
  • Assist with candidate registration, interviews, and onboarding
  • Support candidates throughout their placements
Client & School Support
  • Assist consultants in managing relationships with schools and education settings
  • Help respond to booking requests and day‑to‑day staffing needs
  • Learn how to match candidates effectively to school requirements
Administrative & Compliance Support
  • Support with documentation, data entry, and record‑keeping
  • Work closely with the Service Administrator to ensure compliance standards are met
General Duties
  • Support daily operations and contribute to team targets
  • Maintain accurate records on internal systems
  • Contribute to a positive and professional team environment
We are looking for someone who has:
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence using basic IT systems (Microsoft Office, email, databases)
  • A professional and reliable approach
  • Desirable (but not essential) experience in customer service, sales, administration, or education
  • An interest in recruitment or working within education
  • Full UK driving licence
