Your application

To be eligible for a position as a Trainee Patent Attorney, you must hold a STEM degree (mathematics, physics or engineering) of which a minimum of 80% of the core course hours must cover scientific and/or technical subjects.

We ask applicants to include the following:

  • CV (including your A-Level and GCSE or equivalent subjects with grades)
  • Degree transcript or HEAR report

If you are in your final year and do not have access to a degree transcript, we ask that you include on your CV details of modules you have sat and are going to be sitting in your final year, with any grades you have received where applicable. You may also be able to obtain an official breakdown of modules from your university prior to receiving a final grade.
