The Role – Trainee Music Teacher:
  • Support the delivery of Music lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils in Music
  • Lead subject-specific interventions to support progress and engagement
  • Support practical and theory-based Music learning, both in and out of the classroom
  • Assist with behaviour management to maintain a focused and positive learning environment
  • Work closely with Music staff, pastoral teams and families where appropriate

  • A 2:1 or above in a Music-related degree from a leading UK university
  • A strong interest in Music education and classroom-based experience
  • Confidence supporting pupils with SEND and managing behaviour
