Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC presses to support efficient production.
• Deputise for the shift team leader when required.
• Produce quality components in line with output targets.
• Carry out checks to ensure compliance with quality procedures.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety.
• Contribute to a culture of continual improvement by generating and sharing ideas.
• Work collaboratively as part of a small, autonomous team.
• Support the development and training of colleagues when needed.

Shift pattern

Rotating shifts – one week 6am-2pm, the following week 2pm-10pm.

The Candidate

• Mechanical or manufacturing background.
• Numerate and literate, with the ability to read technical drawings.
• Skilled in using measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers).
• Confident with basic PC use.
• Forklift (counterbalance) experience desirable but not essential.

Salary & Benefits

£22,000 - £32,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications).
