Job description

We are a family run business operating 6 franchised Domino's pizza stores across Dundee, Angus and Forfar with future plans to open more stores in the coming years. We are now looking to recruit enthusiastic Shift Managers to join us and help grow the business.

As the Trainee Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for everything that happens during your shift. This includes all cost controls, inventory control and Customer relations. You will set the example for your team by following all policy and procedures 100% of the time and expecting the same from your crew. Within this role, you will have the chance to lead, coach and inspire team members on your shift to ensure they provide total customer satisfaction and produce great products at all times. Excellent communication and customer service skills are vital as you will be interacting with customers regularly.

Working an average of 20 to 40 hours per week, you will need to be flexible with your working hours as our stores are mainly busy in the evenings and particularly so at the weekends.

Wage starting at £13 per hour.

Assistant Manager duties include:
  • Cost control
  • Stock management
  • Cash handling
  • Store performance and Operation Evaluation Report performance
  • Maintaining high standards of food safety
Our ideal candidate would have:
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience running a fast paced, customer lead QSR, Restaurant or be from the hospitality sector is preferred but not essential
  • Managerial experience
  • Excellent people skills needed including the ability to give clear instructions
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • High levels of initiative and problem solving
  • Ability to lead, train and develop a team
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Experience of working with food would be desirable
