Trailer Technician

ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED/QUALIFIED MECHANIC LOOKING FOR A CHANGE?

Our client is seeking a Technician who is recently qualified or experienced, with a passion for hydraulics and mechanics of small and large livestock containers and trailers. We are looking for an individual who is attentive, meticulous and eager to take on responsibilities with precision and a strong sense of ownership

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the maintenance and installation of hydraulic and mechanical components in custom-built vehicles
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic system issues to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Work closely with senior mechanics and production teams to implement reliable solutions
  • Take detailed notes, follow instructions diligently, and execute tasks with precision
  • Develop skills in reading technical drawings and hydraulic schematics for accurate assembly
  • Maintain meticulous records of all tasks performed
  • Pipe commercial trailers
  • Repair and assemble new trailers
  • Assemble pulley systems and carry out hydraulic testing

Training Opportunities

You will have the opportunity to attend various courses, including WABCO trailer piping courses for commercial trailers (if required).

Salary

Upto 17p/h Depending on Experience (Upto 35,360)

  • Monday-Friday 8am - 4.45pm, 2 x 10 min paid break and 45 min unpaid lunch break
