Title: Trademark Administrator 12 Month FTC

Location: Leeds or Manchester

The Position

To provide a high quality, timely and comprehensive administration support service to the Attorneys (Partners, Attorneys and Trainees) in our Leeds or Manchester office. This is a vital role in a busy and professional office working alongside our Formalities Officers, Paralegals and administration team.

  • Communication & Coordination:Drafting standard correspondence, answering phones, managing diaries, and booking travel/accommodation.
  • Administrative Support:Assisting attorneys with deadlines, managing case diaries, and handling document/file organization.
  • Client & System Interaction:Monitoring mailboxes, using external client systems, and updating online databases.
  • Financial Tasks:Invoicing/billing, entering attorney expenses, and ordering couriers.
  • Research & Reporting:Conducting web searches and citation reporting.

About You:

  • Administrative Expertise:Proven experience in administrative roles with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Accuracy & Organisation:High attention to detail and strong ability to manage and prioritise workloads independently.
  • Communication Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Teamwork & Independence:Effective team player who also works confidently on own initiative.
  • Adaptability & Composure:Flexible, proactive, and calm under pressure, able to handle varied tasks without direction.
