Town Planner - Stourbridge

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading planning consultancy in their search for a Town Planner to join their team in Stourbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for a planning professional with 2-4 years' experience to take the next step in their career. The role offers the chance to work on a wide variety of projects - from residential and commercial schemes through to mixed-use developments - while being supported to progress professionally.

The Role
  • Preparing and managing planning applications and appeals
  • Undertaking planning research, site appraisals and policy analysis
  • Assisting with the preparation of planning reports, statements and representations
  • Liaising with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders
  • Supporting senior colleagues and contributing to the successful delivery of projects
About You
  • 2-4 years' post-graduate planning experience (public or private sector)
  • RTPI accredited degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ambitious and proactive, with the drive to progress towards chartered status
