Toolmaker / Manual Machinist

£18 - £20 per hour + Training + Progression + Excellent Benefits

Whitstable - Commutable from Canterbury, Herne Bay, Faversham, Margate, Ramsgate, Sittingbourne

Are you an experienced Machinist or Toolmaker with strong mould and assembly tooling skills? Do you want a stable, hands‑on role where you'll work on precision tooling and small-batch parts?

This is a great opportunity to join a global manufacturer within a skilled Toolroom, producing new tooling, refurbishing existing tools and supporting NPI work. You'll work on varied projects, machining components to tight tolerances and helping improve tooling designs.

You'll join a well‑established business with excellent facilities, collaborating closely with design, process and manufacturing engineers. The role offers stable work, technical variety and the chance to contribute to continuous improvement.

You'll get ongoing support and training across machining methods, CNC / EDM processes and tooling development, with opportunities to expand your skills and take on more responsibility over time.

The Role
