About the Job

Are you a fully skilled Plastic Injection Mould Tool Designer who wants to work in a world class toolroom producing the best fantasy miniatures in the world? Are you excited by working in an environment where you will be expected to continually challenge what you do and to improve it by using the right methods? Would using the latest CAD software to design plastic injection mould tools appeal to you?

You will be responsible for producing Tool Designs to a very high standard, this will include all areas of Tool Design from layout to completion of product. Every new product brings to the table new challenges and so you'll need to be the type of person who thrives on this and who will work tirelessly to get the desired results.

You will be using Autodesk Powershape software to carry out your role and will need to have extensive experience of the software in a working environment or be confident and skilled enough to transfer from a different Tool Design software within reasonable timescales.

A good knowledge of Plastic Injection Mould Tool Design is required, experience in this field is important.

This is not a Product Design role.

There will be many challenges you will encounter on the way to producing great Tool Designs. Ensuring the files represent what the Miniatures Designer intended while meeting the standards necessary for them to be used in an injection mould tool can be a real challenge, which requires great relationships and having the right conversations, with the right people, at the right time.

Other Essential Information

Working Hours - 39 hours per week, working Mon to Thurs 7.00am/7.30am - 3.30pm/4.00pm and Fri 7.00am/7.30am to 12.00pm/12.30pm.
