A prominent NHS teaching trust is seeking an Administration Assistant to provide reception duties in the Oxford Hand Therapy Unit and Physiotherapy Department. The role requires at least 3 years of experience in administrative tasks and proficiency in IT, with full training provided. The successful candidate will join a compassionate and committed team, dedicated to delivering high-quality service.
Administration Assistant / Receptionist required to provide admin support for the Oxford Hand Therapy Unit and Physiotherapy Department. The Hand Therapy Unit is based across two sites (Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and John Radcliffe Hospital). This post is for 22.15 hours spread over five afternoons (Monday to Friday) at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre. To assist in providing comprehensive reception duties in the Oxford Hand Therapy Unit, Physiotherapy Department, Hydrotherapy, Plaster room and Pain rehabilitation services. To attend to patients and referrers to the service promptly and courteously at all times. To be a worthy front-line representative of our high-quality service.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our established administrative team. The ideal candidate will need to have had previous admin experience in a similar admin or reception based role, as well as a good level of experience with IT and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Full training is provided and we welcome applications from candidates without commercial experience in this area.
