A dedicated NHS hospital in the UK is seeking a Health Care Assistant for their operating theatres. This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, and experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an operating theatre environment. Successful candidates will assist surgical teams and help prepare for surgeries, contributing to a high standard of patient care. The position is full-time with shifts from 07:30 - 19:30, Monday to Friday. Suitable training and support will be provided.
Frimley Park Hospital is part of the Frimley Park NHS foundation Trust and we are currently seeking a Health Care Assistant to join our dedicated DSU2 Theatre Team.

Experience within an Operating Theatre or hospital environment is desirable but not essential. Training, support and development is given by each of the Theatre teams.

Applications are for full time 37.5 hours worked over 3/4 days, doing 07:30 - 19:30 shifts from Monday to Friday. Applicants should be willing to do cross-site working with Wexham Park Hospital and Heatherwood Hospital if required.
You currently must be in the UK and have current experience of working in a UK Healthcare setting as an HCA.
A Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in Operating Theatres works as part of the multidisciplinary team. They assist setting up Theatres and preparing the Theatre and patient for surgery. The HCA assists the Theatre practitioners and surgical team during surgical procedures with equipment, instruments and patient care.
