Overview

Territory Sales Manager - Capital Equipment - South West England

Our client is a highly regarded international MedTech company that has been developing and manufacturing medical devices across a broad range of base-in-class therapeutic specialties and has ambitious growth plans for the next few years. They now seek a talented commercially focused and technically minded Territory Sales Manager at the location shown. You will be responsible for selling a range of clinical beds, stretchers, pressure care surfaces and service offerings within hospital and residential care settings by leveraging your skills and knowledge within sales to deliver on annual and quarterly revenue targets.

Responsibilities
  • Develop an effective territory sales strategy to maintain existing business, and demonstrate the skills needed to develop new sales opportunities within clinical areas for hospital partners
  • Be accountable and own your business, think innovatively and find solutions to meet the needs and challenges of customers
  • Be relentless in your approach to closing and winning new business
  • Show how you manage and close complex capital opportunities by excelling in stakeholder mapping, action planning and business development with specific examples of managing tenders, rentals and total managed services contracts
  • Excel at building strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders in the NHS or private medical sector, including Manual Handling, Tissue Viability, Medical Engineers, Finance, Procurement and other clinical specialists
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training for clinical staff

  • Demonstrated ability to map and manage complex and multiple stakeholders to influence decision making

In addition you will be energetic, innovative and have high accountability in order to identify and drive new business opportunities. You will positively influence, negotiate and close prospective customers to enable them to provide the highest standard of care for their patients and health care professionals. You will have a proven track record of working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to create and execute innovative sales strategies that have helped you secure new business opportunities.
