About the Role

We’re seeking a proactive and empathetic Temporary Accommodation Officer to join Lambeth’s Housing Services Directorate. This is a vital role supporting vulnerable households as they transition from temporary accommodation into settled housing.

You’ll manage a caseload of households identified as ready to move on, using detailed assessments to match them with suitable long-term housing options. These may include private rented accommodation, supported housing, direct social housing offers, or choice-based lettings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of households ready to move into settled accommodation

  • Offer legally compliant accommodation to discharge the Council’s housing duties
