A leading water utility company in the UK is seeking a Telecoms Coordinator to oversee Operational Technology communications services. The role involves managing the full OT Communications Services, conducting audits, and ensuring cost-effective solutions. Essential qualifications include A-level education and experience in network equipment maintenance. The position is hybrid based in Reading, offering a competitive salary of up to £65,000 and various employee benefits.
This role spans both IT and OT environments and supports the digital assets at the heart of Thames Water’s 24/7 operational services. You will manage, analyse, and optimise all OT communication services, ensuring accuracy of records, minimising unnecessary spend, identifying risks, and improving systems to support a modern, resilient, data-driven networks.
Working collaboratively with OT Operations, IT, the wider OT Service & Technical team, and Digital Networks, you will act as the focal point for OT communications issues, audits, improvements, and provider interactions while driving the adoption of robust and efficient communications solutions.
