A leading engineering solutions provider in the UK seeks a Technical Distribution Sales Manager. In this role, you will manage high-value distributor accounts, focusing on sales growth and relationship building. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of relevant experience and technical knowledge in electrical or electronic engineering. Are you a consultative solutions sales professional with proven success in the electrical engineering or electronic market?

With a multimillion-pound turnover and advanced manufacturing capabilities, my client has become a leading supplier of electrical components for a number of key and critical applications.
Following consecutive record-breaking sales years, my client wishes to bolster its efforts by recruiting a technical sales professional to focus on developing their UK distribution partners.
Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will work from a home office and spend around 2-3 days per week with customers. Duties will include:
Ideally you will possess a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in an external Sales (Distribution or OEM), Field Applications or Product Specialist role within an electrical engineering, electronics or affiliated field.
A HNC, HND, or Degree in an Engineering discipline would be advantageous, but not essential.
Any experience managing large national distribution accounts like RS Components or Farnell would be higher advantageous as would experience supporting more regional distributors.
