An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our highly innovative and motivated Development Management Team as a Technical Business Support Officer. You will be fundamental to our success, delivering a varied range of planning and development management services.

You will be a valued member of our team providing excellent business and customer support services across our department. Supporting services which include Ecology, Building Control, Built Heritage Conservation and Highways Development Management to deliver professional quality and innovative services to all of our customers.

Sitting in the heart of Shropshire, Telford is the gateway between the Midlands and Wales. Rich in heritage and natural beauty, the borough has a vibrant town centre that's currently expanding and a 450 acre town park with numerous leisure facilities;
Being part of the Development Management team will ensure you play a part in the development and creation of creative and positive places for those who live and work in Telford, building a safe and sustainable environment for future generations to enjoy.
Have excellent communication skills: both oral and written, to be able to explain service policy and procedures and communicate decisions/requirements effectively to customers.
