Job title: Technical Business Analyst

Location: Chippenham, 2-3 days on-site

Salary: up to £65,000 depending on experience

Contract Type: Permanent, full time

A well-established UK-based SME is undergoing a significant digital transformation and is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support the delivery of several high-impact projects.

With multiple initiatives in progress including client integrations, internal application redevelopment, and new regulatory requirements you'll play a key role in bridging business needs with technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to extract and document clear, actionable business and technical requirements, particularly for API and software integration projects.
  • Technical Analysis: Collaborate with IT and external partners to define and validate technical specifications, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Project Support: Contribute to the successful delivery of integration and application rebuild projects, supporting testing, validation, and user training as needed.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise across departments to clarify needs, resolve ambiguities, and translate business challenges into technical solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5 -10 years' experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within SME environments.
  • Strong technical acumen: comfortable with APIs, software requirements, databases, and system integrations.
  • Proven ability to gather requirements and deliver results in unstructured or ambiguous settings.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Background in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain is advantageous.
