About the Role

Our stores operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, offering a wide variety of shift patterns to fit students’ lifestyles. Weekend working is a requirement of the role, but shifts will be flexible to match your availability.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assemble and process prescriptions.
• Drive awareness of extra pharmacy services (e.g., Prescription Collection Service, Medicines Use Reviews).
• Support the Pharmacist with the delivery and effective record‑keeping of patient services such as blood pressure checks and stop‑smoking schemes.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the strict Standard Operating Procedures and consistently apply them.
• Collect customers’ prescriptions from their doctor's surgery on their behalf and bring them ready for collection.
• Complete an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months, then progress to training as a Dispensing Assistant.

• You are naturally friendly, highly organised, and eager to get stuck in.
• You have good computer skills, attention to detail, and communicate well with customers.
