What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

Responsibilities
  • Lead technical decisions and drive secure development across AWS, Azure and SaaS platforms.
  • Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to ensure products are secure, stable and aligned with best practices.
  • Design, implement, administer and support security products and services, ensuring adherence to Digital Security Standards and Architectural Principles, both on premise and in Cloud.
  • Work hands-on with the business and SMEs to define use cases and develop searches in Splunk Enterprise Security to provide security alerting across multiple tools.
  • Take an investigative approach to problems and opportunities in existing processes, driving information collection and recommendations for improvements.
  • Embed secure-by-design principles, threat hunting, purple teaming and DevSecOps into the development lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • Strong working knowledge of cyber security controls at each layer of an organisation’s architecture, designing solutions with defence-in-depth and security controls embedded.
  • Experience implementing enterprise security tooling and platforms in line with the NIST Cyber Security Framework or equivalent, and CIS security controls.
  • Extensive experience designing, implementing, administering and supporting security products and services, ensuring adherence to Digital Security Standards and Architectural Principles, across on‑premise and cloud environments.
  • Experience working with the business and SMEs to define use cases and to develop Splunk Enterprise Security searches for security alerting.
