Job description

The AWS Network Design and Deployment Team (NIDD) is searching for a passionate and talented Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to drive Data Center and Network Capacity planning. You will assess demand requirements and leverage available network resources to determine and deliver prime solutions for our customers. You will work with stakeholders to complete per requisites necessary to deliver critical networking capacity and lead programs to improve infrastructure resource utilization and availability across the ADC Organization.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network health, customer demand, anticipate risks, resolve issues and initiate corrective action.
• Work with stakeholders (networking engineers, tech program managers, senior management) to define requirements and processes.
• Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects and negotiate trade‑offs needed.
• Provide program progress reporting on a regular basis.
• End‑to‑end responsibility for program execution and success.
• Manage multiple competing projects/programs simultaneously.
• Develop and implement scalable, data‑driven process improvement and automated solutions.
• Keep the customer experience as the primary focus.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical product or program management.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
