Job description

Job Opportunity: Team Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Manager to join our new service in Warrington and Halton. We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, well-organised, and qualified individual to manage a team and deliver high-quality non-clinical support to individuals in times of crisis.

Our services provide recovery-focused support to clients with various mental health needs, as well as support for learning disabilities, physical health issues, and substance misuse. The role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality support within a designated service or location.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage all client-focused activities, including assessment and management of referrals, voids management (housing), needs assessment, support planning, risk management, safety planning, and regular reviews of needs.
  2. Ensure completion of all My Future Matters documentation or other relevant client management information.
  3. Manage incidents and safeguarding concerns in line with MHM policies and procedures.
  4. Liaise proactively with the Area Manager to escalate issues affecting safety and service quality.
  5. Provide support and line management to staff, including induction, supervision, appraisal, development, and performance management.
  6. Ensure staffing resources and capacity are adequate, including recruitment and managing staff rotas.
  7. Adhere to financial authorization procedures and communicate effectively through high-standard reports and documentation.
