This is a newly-created position, meaning that you can really, “make the role your own” and that the finer points can be tweaked to suit your skills, experiences and ambitions. You will be working in close conjunction with the Head of Care Insurance, relieving him of many of his current duties so he can focus on developing the Care Division further. This is to include the day to day management of circa 8 Commercial Account Handlers, from allocating workloads and dealing with holiday requests, through to developing training and development programmes, and playing a key role in a variety of projects.
Whilst we are particularly keen to hear from candidates from a commercial insurance broking background, we do welcome applications from those individuals from personal lines, underwriting or claims backgrounds who can demonstrate the ability to quickly get up to speed with the finer points of the role.

As you may expect form a forward-thinking and dynamic employer, it’s an advocate of modern, flexible-working practices and you will be allowed to work remotely several days per week. However, as the Care Team is split across two locations, you should be willing to commute to both Hull and Malton weekly.
