The role operates on a 24/7 rotational shift pattern (average 42 hours per week, 5/2 schedule across 2 weeks: e.g. 2 days one week / 5 days the next, followed by 2 nights one week / 5 nights the following). You will report directly to the Shift Performance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Shift Performance Manager in delivering safe, high-quality, risk-free products through Lean/WCOM practices.

  • Achieve shift production targets on time and in line with quality system standards.

  • Diagnose issues, implement corrective actions, and escalate quality concerns where necessary.

  • Communicate clearly with your team regarding performance metrics and Gainshare targets.

  • Supervise quality checks, ensuring minor exceptions are resolved quickly and escalations are managed appropriately.

  • Lead, coach, and mentor staff through performance reviews, absence management, disciplinary processes, and development planning.

  • Drive effective communication through team meetings, feedback sessions, and performance updates.

  • Manage scheduling, liaise with planning, and adjust shifts as required for efficiency.

  • Utilise SAP for problem-solving and accurate reporting.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a regulated manufacturing environment.

  • Flexibility to work across rotating shift patterns.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
