Overview

We have a 6 bed residential home, supporting children with learning disabilities. Be a part of developing our service and help make a difference to a young person's life every day.

Position

Children's Care Team Leader.

Location

Location: Walsall (WS4)

Hours

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week. Hours are 7.00am - 9.00pm and there is sleep ins which is a requirement (£55 per sleep).

The role

A vacancy has arisen for a Care Team Leader to join the team to support the service manager by leading the day-to-day management of a shift. This will involve providing practical assistance and emotional support to empower their team in supporting the children they support to achieve their goals and aspirations.

About you

Successful applicants will need to have experience supporting children with learning disabilities. As a member of the team you will need a real passion for providing a high standard of support that enables our children and young people to be as independent as they can, learn and develop through education and experience, stay healthy and most importantly, have a fun, fulfilling life.

You must be available to commit to working across a variety of shifts on a rota basis and candidates it is essential you hold an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Children's Care or be working towards the qualification.
