Salary: £29,000‑£31,000

At Bis Henderson, we have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Team Leader to join the team at a specialist FMCG company at their Dartford site.

As the Warehouse Team Leader, you will manage processes and a small team, driving best practice and continuous improvement, and support direct reports to achieve their full potential. The role is progressive and seeks a candidate driven to progress to Shift Manager level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the receiving and dispatch of goods in line with customer needs and ensure relevant individual and team KPIs are met.
  • Ensure that all inventory is accounted for and stored correctly.
  • Motivate the team, organise workloads, brief the team before shifts, conduct 1–2–1s and act on any HR related requirements.
  • Proactively drive continuous improvement and lead change in line with business objectives.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following health and safety regulations at all times.
Key Skills/Experience
  • Previous experience managing a team within a warehouse environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, able to manage, guide and support the team to achieve goals.
  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to use own initiative.
  • Knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures.
