A healthcare organization in Bangor is looking for a band 6 senior staff nurse for the children's unit. The role involves providing clinical management, developing other staff, and ensuring high-quality care for young patients. Candidates should possess strong clinical knowledge, leadership qualities, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Salary ranges from £39,263 to £47,280 per annum, pro rata.
An opportunity has arisen for a band 6 senior staff nurseto join our friendly team on the children's unit. This post would be suitable for an experienced band 5 staff nurse with both strong clinical knowledge and leadership qualities.The successful candidate will be self motivated and passionate about the care of children and young people and committed to improving service delivery and flexible to the needs of the service. A desire to learn and undertake leadership and management training is essential.
TheChildren's Unit consists of20 inpatient beds including 1 High Dependency bed.
We also have 5 Assessment unit beds, 8 medical/surgical day case beds and 1 Oncology bed.
Provide management and organisation of a clinical area. Assess, plan,implement and evaluate evidenced-based nursing care. Contribute tothe education, development and line management of other staffmembers, qualified and unqualified. Work collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their familieswith minimal or no supervision.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
