Job description

We are looking to employ a full-time, 12-month fixed-term Team Administrator within the specialty of Mental Health Services for Older People, providing support to the senior management team.

The service operates across Durham Tees Valley, providing mental health assessment, advice, diagnosis, treatment, and care planning to patients with complex needs, including those who may require assessment for dementia.

You will be responsible for providing high-quality, flexible administrative support.

You must have the Right to Work in the UK to be successfully appointed to this role. This role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa.

Main duties of the job

The role includes supporting the senior management team with administrative tasks, including diary management, Microsoft applications, and IT knowledge.

Qualifications
  • Level 3 Qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience, or willingness to work towards a Level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management.
  • Key skills/functional skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Level 3 Qualification in Leadership and Management.
  • RSA Level 2 or equivalent secretarial/administrative experience in a clinical environment.
Experience
  • Experience working in an administrative environment, including diary management and data input.
  • Customer Service experience, including face-to-face and telephone interactions.
  • Experience organizing and completing demands and workloads.
  • Experience setting up and maintaining administrative systems and processes.
  • Experience working autonomously and proactively.
  • Experience supporting/supervising staff.
  • Experience handling finances and working within financial guidelines.
Knowledge
  • Understanding of data protection and confidentiality.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of office systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of NHS systems.
