Job description

Werrington Primary School is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday., term time only on a fixed term contract up to 31/08/2026.

The successful candidate will work with groups or 1:1 with children with learning and or behavioural needs within either Key Stage. We can offer a hardworking and welcoming team of staff and pupils.

We are a happy, successful, two form entry Primary School located in Werrington village to the North of Peterborough. A member of the Soke Education Trust - a Multi Academy Trust (MAT) which includes a number of other local primary schools. The candidate must:

  • Be able to work in any year group from Foundation to Year 6.
  • Be able to undertake any TA level 2 role, including working 1:1 supporting children with learning and behavioural difficulties, potential intimate care needs and group work.
