Overview

Teaching Assistant (TA2/TA3) - KS2 & EYFS - Long-Term Cover

Location: North Lancaster

Start Date: Mid-October 2025

Duration: 6 to 12 weeks

Working Pattern:

  • Monday - Full day (KS2)

  • Tuesday - Morning only (KS2)

  • Wednesday - Morning (KS2)

  • Wednesday - Afternoon (EYFS)

Additional adhoc hours may be available on other days.

About the role: Veritas Education are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and well-organised primary school in the Lancaster area seeking a dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistant (TA2/TA3) to cover a planned absence. The role will involve supporting both lower Key Stage 2 and Early Years, so experience across different age groups is highly desirable.

You will be:

  • An experienced TA2 or TA3 with a strong understanding of KS2 and/or EYFS.

  • Confident working across a mix of whole class support and targeted individual or small group interventions.

  • A team player who can quickly adapt to a new school environment.

  • Committed to supporting pupil progress and well-being.
