Teaching Assistant

As a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant, you will be at the heart of the classroom, providing essential support to both teachers and students. Your primary goal will be to help create an engaging and effective learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct Student Support: Work closely with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning concepts, provide targeted support, and assist students with special educational needs (SEN).

• Classroom Operations: Assist the class teacher in preparing learning resources, setting up classroom activities, and maintaining a tidy and safe learning environment.

• Curriculum & Lesson Support: Actively participate in the planning and delivery of lessons, helping to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.

• Behaviour Management: Implement the school's behaviour management strategies consistently to ensure a positive and productive classroom atmosphere.

• Student Engagement: Foster a love for learning by creating a positive, encouraging, and engaging atmosphere for all students.

• Administrative Tasks: Support the teacher with marking work, recording student progress, and maintaining accurate records.

• Parent & Teacher Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the class teacher and collaborate with parents to support student development.

Requirements for This Teaching Assistant Role

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children in an educational setting (e.g., as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or in a nursery/school environment).

• Skills:
